Lottie E. Schwock, 87, of Syracuse, died on Monday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and watching SU Basketball. She was a member of the Lyncourt Senior Citizens. She was a loving wife and devoted mother to her family. Her husband of 62 years, Norman, died in 2008. They met and fell in love in Germany during WWII, wed in Germany and came home to America. She is survived by her 2 sons: Richard (Joan) of North Tonawanda, NY, Raymond (Claudia) of New Woodstock, NY; 2 daughters: Susan (John) Nawrocki of Peoria, AZ, Sandra (Paul) March-McKinney of Rome, NY; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and pre-deceased family members in Germany. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10am at the Welter-Price Funeral Home with burial in White Chapel Cemetery in Dewitt. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm at the Funeral Home, 3111 James Street. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY.
