Helen Franey 91, of Lowville, died on Tuesday at her home. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing Class of 1945. She was a communicant of St. Stephen's Church in Croghan.
She is pre-deceased by her husband: Joseph Robert Franey and daughter Robin Starr.
Mrs. Franey is survived by 3 sons: Mark of Lowville, Timothy (Gina) of Nokesville, VA, Bart (Lynn) of Manlius; 3 daughters: Martha (David) Gardner of Fabius, Christine Lally of Lowville, Kathryn Franey of Lowville; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
