Andrew (Andy) Prior, 23, loving son, brother, uncle, grandson & friend passed unexpectedly on Sunday, November 14. Andy was born & raised in Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Bishop Grimes High School in 2005 and went on to earn a B.A.S from Northeastern University in 2010. He graduated Cum Laude, majoring in American Sign Language. Andy recently began his career as an interpreter in Boston, MA.
Andy had an appreciation for the arts and a passion for travel. However; his greatest love was time spent with his friends & family. Andy's family cherished every day of his beautiful life and he will live on in thier hearts forever.
Andy is loved & remembered by his parents, David & Rosemarie, his two brothers, John (Jill) & and Mark (Christine), his beloved nephews, Drew & Will, his expected Niece, his grandmothers, Hilda Prior & Teresa D'Arrigo, his dog, Skylar and several uncles, aunts, cousins & friends. Pre-deceased by grandfathers, Joseph D'Arrigo & George Prior.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30am on Friday in the Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm in the church, 3127 James Street.
In lieu of flowers, please send all donations in Honor of Andy Prior to the American Sign Language Program at Northeastern University 400 Meserve Hall Boston, MA 02115.
