Obituary of Patricia E. Becker

Beloved sister and aunt, Patricia E. Becker went home Friday to be with the Lord. She had been a resident of James Square for a short time. Born in Minnesota, she moved to Syracuse in 1963 with her family. She graduated from Central Tech in 1970. Pat worked for MONY for 22 years and most recently for 10 years at All Seasons Food Service. She was very active in the Eastwood Legion Women's Auxiliary and was the current president. Ms Becker was also very active in 8 & 40, an elite part of the auxiliary. She was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister at Blessed Sacrament Church. Her parents, Raymond and Maxine Becker pre-deceased her in 2006 and 1992 respectively. Pat is survived by her brother James (Susan) Becker, nieces Kristin Sangha (Harry) and Tricia Weiner (Joseph), a great niece, 4 great nephews and several cousins. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday at 9AM in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in St Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society.
