Alice June Hendricks, 89 passed away peacefully Monday with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Richard M. Hendricks; daughters, Brenda Lapinski, Gloria Adams and Judith Hendricks - Manning. She loved and devoted her life to her family, she was a constant light and nurturer to all . June was an avid gardener with a constant blooming perpetual garden. Our mother was a true lady with impeccable taste, her strength of character was only surpassed by the grace with which she lived her life. She is survived by sons: Richard N.(Andrea) Hendricks, David (Amy) Cowen; daughters: Susan (Kenneth Jr.) Hendricks Gregory, Maureen (Dale) Cowen-Baker, Patricia (Ronald Sr.) Lauback; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15 at 1:30pm in Welter-Price Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, with calling hours from 12:30-1:30pm before the service. Burial will be Woodlawn Cemetery.
