Helen Sophia Rudd, 71 passed away Monday. She was born on July 3, 1942 the daughter of the late Orville LeRoy and Sophia Koker Terrell. Helen was a graduate of Amsterdam Hospital School of Nursing and D'Youville College. She was a nurse and taught at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing for a number of years. Helen was predeceased by her parents and her sister Anna (Terrell) Melvin. Survived by her husband, F.William Rudd; son, Timothy Mark (Ginette Azcona) Rudd; step son, David Scott Rudd; step daughter Carrie Lynn (John) Ryan; grandson, Amari Guillermo Rudd; step grandchildren: Lacey Rudd, Justin and Cassidy Ryan; brothers: Christopher Terrell and Lloyd (Carolyn) Terrell; sister, Agnes Terrell and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 4pm in Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home in Eastwood, with calling hours from 1-4pm before the service. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mannsville, NY at 11am on Sunday, November 10.
