Sigmund "Ziggy" Dmoch, 93, of Syracuse, loving Father and Grandfather, passed peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday. He was born in Syracuse and served in the US Navy during World War 2, on the USS Isherwood, as a fire control man. Ziggy retired in 1984 from the Syracuse School District. He was a devoted husband who cared for his wife, Alice, until her passing in 1985. He is survived by his daughter, Susan, son in law, Jeff, and the joy of his life, granddaughter, Alyssa. A mass to celebrate Ziggy's life and dedication to his family will be held on Monday at 10am in St. Ann's Church, 4461 Onondaga Boulevard. Please remember him in your prayers. Kind, gentle, caring, all his private life. He will be sadly missed and forever honored.
