Betty, as she was known to all, was born March 23, 1922 in San Francisco CA and was a graduate of Eastwood High School. She was a proud alumnus, Class of '43, and avid supporter of Syracuse University and a member of Alpha Chi Omega. She was formerly employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad, working in Penn Station through the war years, and at New York Telephone and Fehlman Bros. Automotive. Betty enjoyed spending her winters in Ft. Meyers, Florida. She was an avid fisherwoman, accomplished skeet shooter and everyone in her family enjoyed her hand-made sweaters. She leaves behind her son Bruce (Cathy) Fehlman , daughters Patricia (William) Roker and April (Steven) Rand and stepchildren Beverly Lewis , Gerald (Carol) Fehlman , Cindy Fehlman and Cathy Rotuno as well as many grand and great-grand children and also many close friends. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will take place for the family. She will be interred next to her husband in Woodlawn cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Humane Society of Central New York.
