Obituary of Laura Senska

Laura J. Senska, 87, of East Syracuse, died on Sunday at Saint Joseph's Hospital with her family at her side. She had worked in administration at Bishop Grimes High School. Mrs. Senska was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church and a volunteer at the Second Hand Shop, and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Altar and Rosary Society. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert J. Senska Sr. who died on May 19, 1998.
Mrs. Senska is survived by her daughter: Beverly (Thomas) Chipperfield of Savannah, GA; her sons: Robert J. Jr. of Macedonia, OH; Carl (Linda) of North Syracuse; her grandchildren: Robert III, Christina Senska, Stefanie Chipperfield, Matthew (Laura), Christopher (Laura) & Andrew Senska; great-grandchildren: Trevor & Leena Senska; and many special friends and wonderful neighbors.
Funeral services are to be held on Friday at 8:30 at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 9am in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street. Memorial contributions may be made to St Matthews's Food Pantry.
