Louise Bagenski, 88, a life-long resident of Syracuse, died on Sunday at James Square. She was a communicant of Transfiguration Church and a member and officer of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member and officer of American Legion, Pulaski Post 1650. She was pre-deceased by her husband Stanley F. Bagenski; her brothers: John, Matthew & Chester Pisiak; and sisters: Sister Mary Sapientia, Charlotte Tyminski, Marian Vallerio. Mrs. Bagenski is survived by sons: Richard Bagenski of Syracuse, Gerald Bagenski and Carolyn Eversole Bagenski of Florence, NJ; brother in law: Henry Bagenski; sisters in law: Helen Bagenski, Emily Pisiak, and Katherine Pisiak; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10am at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Geddes. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
