Bernice Scherr, 92 passed away Sunday at Sunnyside Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse on September 27, 1920 the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Patzer Scherr. She worked for Davis Distributing and retire from L.B. Smith in 1987. Bernice was a member of Professional Secretaries International. She is survived by her niece: Karen Malone and nephew: Tom Scherr. Calling hours will be Thursday from 11-1pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, with a funeral service to follow a 1pm. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
