Stanley A. Williams Jr, 80, of Syracuse, died on Sunday at James Square. He was born in Olean, NY and his parents were Stanley A. Williams Sr. and Alice Beaulieu. He had worked for Diamond Roofing and was a member of the Roofers Union Local 195. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the VFW, Moose Club, and the PACC.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Marie and a sister Betty Goldthwait.
He is survived by his 2 sons: Stanley A. (Rosemarie) Williams III, David Williams; grandchildren: David Jr., Ryan, Jennifer, Stephanie; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
