Obituary of Carl Ciborowski

Carl J. Ciborowski, 80, passed away on Monday at University Hospital after a short illness. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of the Roofers Union #195. He graduated from Transfiguration School and was a life member of Transfiguration Church. He liked to ride his bike around the city and go to the YMCA. He enjoyed gardening and playing basketball when he was younger. He was pre-deceased by his parents Margaret and John; a brother John V.; sisters: Sophie Brzostek, Laura Giocondo, Mary Mucci, Irene Kazel; and a nephew John Ciborowski. He is survived by his sister Natalie (Albert) Biloski, brother Peter (Mildred) Ciborowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Saturday at 8:30 at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 9am in Transfiguration Church, with burial to follow in Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
