Joan Ellen Dann Obituary

Joan Ellen Dann, born on February 7, 1939, in Syracuse, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, in her beloved hometown. Joan was an outgoing and caring soul who dedicated her life to putting others first, embodying the spirit of the Good Samaritan.

She is pre-deceased by her parents John Sr. and Edna White and her brother John White Jr.

She is survived by her sister in-law Rita White and two daughters, Susan Milea and Sharon Cook, and her five grandchildren: Bryant Cook, Taylor Sacco, Melissa Milea, Michael Milea, and Michele Milea. Joan also cherished her four great-grandchildren, Angelo, Vincent, and Nicolas Sacco, and Nora Cook. As well as her nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday, November 11 from 5-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. A funeral mass is November 12 at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
