William M. Goike Obituary

William “Bill” M. Goike, 86, formerly of Clay, died on October 5, 2024 at Menorah Park. He was a native of Syracuse and his parents were William and Margaret Warner Goike. He graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 1958 and served 6 years in Army Reserves. Bill was the former owner/operator of Goike’s Greenhouse for 58 years. He was active with his wife in the Humane Society.

His wife Joyce died in 2008 and his brother-in-law Jerrold Renske died in 2023.

His caregivers and close family have been his brother in law & sister in law, Eugene and Mary Renske of Jamesville. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Cindy Renske; nephews Mark (Niki) Renske, Derek Renske and niece Paige (Simon) Delinikos.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 11 at 10am in Assumption Church with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 9:15-9:45am in the Church.
