Louis Russo Jr., 69, of Cicero, died on July 16, 2024 at Community General Hospital.  He was born in Syracuse and was pre-deceased by his parents Louis and Frances Russo and his brother Michael.  He had worked at ARC of Onondaga for 20 years and was a resident in one of their community residences for over 22 years.  Louis, referred to often as Louie or Lou, loved the New York Yankees, Westerns, The Three Stooges and listening  to the oldies, especially The Beatles, The Beach Boys and B.B.King and going for coffee.  In his younger days, Lou loved to dance!  He had a great contagious smile! He will be missed by his friends and the caring staff at his residence and day Program. 

A funeral mass will be held on July 23 in Blessed Sacrament Church.  Visitation will be held at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home from 9:00-10:00 before the mass.  Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
