Obituary of Barbara Holihan Hohm

Barbara Holihan Hohm, 87, of Syracuse, died on Monday at Crouse Hospital. She was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Lyceum Sorority. She retired from Addis & Deys and had formerly worked for the New York Telephone Company. She was a communicant of All Saints' Church and a volunteer for over 20 years at Community General Hospital. She was pre-deceased by her husband John F. Hohm Jr. Who died in 1964 and her parents were Frederick and Ruth Holihan. She is survived by her 3 sons: John F. Hohm III of Syracuse, Dr. Craig E. (Sue) Hohm of Penn Yan, NY, James C. Hohm of Memphis, NY; a daughter: Diane H. (Leo) Berman of Syracuse; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. The Hohm family would like to thank the Cunningham Eighth Floor staff and residents for their care, compassion and friendship they gave to Barbara. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10am in All Saints' Church with burial to follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 North Salina Street. Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints' Church, 112 Lancaster Avenue, Syracuse 13210.
