Obituary of Beverly J. Christian

Mrs. Beverly J. Christian, age 87, passed on to rest with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 19, 2024 after a short illness. The daughter of military parents, MSgt Edward A. and Mrs. Marion M. Stern, she was born in Oswego, NY and settled in Syracuse with her family of seven siblings prior to her marriage of 38 years. Beverly worked several jobs in her lifetime, more prominently for the Resnick Pocketbook Factory and recently as a long time employee of JC Penney’s.  In her younger years, Beverly was an avid crochetist, knitter, quilter, crafter, seamstress and babysitter. She loved to travel, having visited many US States and countries in Europe. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, together they raised three children. Beverly leaves to cherish her loving memories daughters, Patricia and Debra (her partner Bill) and son Kenneth (his wife Kathy) along with six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.  A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home on James St in Syracuse on Saturday May 25th from 2:00 to 4:00 including a short eulogy.
