Louise H. Buck Obituary

Louise H. Buck, of Liverpool, passed away on April 8, 2024. She was born on May 17, 1934 in Syracuse. Her parents were John and Erdine Gildemeyer Leitfred. She was a former secretary at the Nestle Company. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her friends in Syracuse, at Selkirk Shores State Park, and Myrtle Beach, where she spent winters with her husband.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Richard K. Buck, who died in 2006; a son Andrew, his wife Christina, and their son Nicholas.

Her family includes her daughter Kathleen (Peter) Crouse of Albany; sons: Stephen (Deborah) of Liverpool, Richard (Chrissie “Rosemary”) of Syracuse; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Louise and her family thank the staffs of St Joseph’s Hospital, Buckley Landing, and Loretto Fahey 2 for the compassionate care she received.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11am in St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 873 Dewitt Street. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina St. Contributions may be made in memory of Louise, to the Lutheran Home, 108 Utica St, Clinton, NY 13323.
