Tammy J. Burgos, 63, died on March 28 at her home in Syracuse surrounded by her loving family. She had retired from the US Postal Service after 33 years.

Tammy had a heart of gold, she was very giving, loved her kids and grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting blankets, watching her favorite TV shows and gifting for others.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Dennis Burgos. She is survived by her children: Juan (Corey) Burgos, Brandy (Joe) Cupplo, Nicole Bridges, Nicholas (Tanya) Britton, Bruce (Shannon) Britton; 12 grandchildren: Joey, Ryan, Dominick, Aurianna, Johnathan, Sean, Alexandria, AJ, Alex, Anthony, Alyssa, and Mr. Bruce Jr ; 1 great grandchild: Addie; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7pm at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital.
