Susan G. Tubbert Obituary

Susan G. Tubbert, 77, of East Syracuse, died on February 11, 2024 at University Hospital. She was the former co-owner with her husband of Gary’s Coiffure and she was also employed as a clerk at Wegmans in Dewitt. Sue had enjoyed cross stitching and working with stained glass.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Gary; father Harry ”Bud” Stratton; mother Ethel Stratton; and step-sons: Brett & Brian Tubbert; and niece Julie (Stratton) Cuzelis.

She is survived by her daughter Shelby (Jeff) Robinson; brother Gene (Patty) Stratton; sister Nancy Angelo; step-daughter Kim Cornett; grandchildren: Alyssa & Dakota Robinson; step-grandchildren Brandon Prince, Katie Cornett, Kelli Chapin and Khloe Tubbert; and many nieces and nephews. In the last few years she connected with biological daughters Chris Tasker Brakman and Shannon Ryan-Delisle.

Calling hours will be Saturday, March 2 from 12-2pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with a service at the conclusion.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A or the PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) foundation.
