Dawn Marie (Bleskoski) Usherwood, 53, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Born in Syracuse, she was the daytime cook extraordinaire at Shifty's Bar & Restaurant, and previously Liverpool Golf & Country Club for many years. Dawn enjoyed baking, spending time with her grandchildren, and spending time with her Girl Tribe. She loved all things family and friends.

She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents Albert and Frances Bleskoski, maternal grandparents Leonard and Bertha Steinberg.

She is survived by her husband George B. Usherwood III; her daughters: Ashley (Shawn) Grant, Megan Storie, Sarah (Devon) Usherwood, Rachel Usherwood, and Abigail (Samuel) Usherwood; her 7 grandchildren; her parents John and Rosemary Bleskoski; mother and father-in-law Gerald and Marcia Bechard; sisters: Michelle Bleskoski and Jennifer (Blas) Cervantes; sister-in-law Terri Usherwood; nephew Christian and niece Piper; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be Sunday, January 7 from 3-6pm at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James St, Syracuse. A funeral service will be Monday at 10am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 8668 County Rte 57, Baldwinsville.
