Janet Donohue, 69,of Syracuse, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 20th, surrounded by the love of her family. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Jan worked at many jobs through her life but her most precious time was the years spent at Syracuse University. While at SU, Jan made many lifelong friends who always looked forward to her joyful personality and infectious sense of humor. In her free time Jan enjoyed trips to the casino and spending time with her family and friends.

Jan is survived by her husband of 46 years, Pat; her children: Maureen, Shannon (David), Kaytee, and Jimmy. Her 3 grandchildren, Kaylee, Jimmy, and JJ were the light of her life and she loved sharing stories and giggles with them. She cherished the relationships with her siblings and cousins near and far. Jan is predeceased by her loving parents Jan (GG) and Jack (Papa).

Services will be held on Thursday, December 28th at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson from 4-7pm. Her family wants to thank the loving staff at Hematology Oncology and Hospice of CNY for taking such good care of her in her last days.
