Katherine (Kate) McDonnell Krzykowski, 91, formerly of Marcellus, passed away, Tuesday, December 12 at Loretto.  She was the daughter of Jeremiah and Hazel Robinson McDonnell of Eastwood and attended Eastwood High School.  She married Henry Krzykowski of Manlius in 1950 and went on to raise 8 children.  Kate also cared for several foster children.
Over the years Kate worked a variety of jobs, however, her favorite was her job as a bus monitor for Bernie Bus.  She also performed volunteer work for several organizations.
In addition to her parents, Kate was also predeceased by her husband Henry, sons Robert and Steven, her siblings: John, Jeremiah and Johanna.
She is survived by her son Henry (Joanne) of St. Mary's, GA., Patrick (Donna) of Lakeland, Judy of Tampa Bay, FL., George of San Antonio, TX., Richard of Central Square and Cathy (Robert) Tampa Bay, FL.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 18 at 9am in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
We would like to thank the staff at Loretto for the wonderful care our Mom received during her stay with them.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
