Robert John Pisiak, 75, of Syracuse, passed away on June 30, 2023 peacefully at home. Anyone blessed to have known Bob, knows he was the most loyal, selfless, gentle giant with a heart of gold. He loved to keep us entertained with his quick wits, and silly personality. He taught us to appreciate the simple things in life and to make lifetime memories with family. Bob attended Henninger High School. He married the love of his life, Kathy on April 11, 1970. He retired from the Syracuse Water Department. He enjoyed traveling, visiting the casinos, fishing, having his “coffee”, and shooting the breeze. Above all spending time with the kids and grand kids was most important to him.

Bob selflessly cared for Kathy for many years after she became ill with dementia, until her passing in 2021.

Bob will be greatly missed by his three children: Wendy Pisiak (Jose’ Colon) of Marcellus, Kristen (Ron) Williams of Cicero, and Jeff Pisiak (Suzanne Reidy) of Syracuse; his five grandchildren: Sydney, Mia, Chase, Gavin, and Landon; sister Nancy (Harter) Muncy of Fairmont; nieces: Staci and Julie; and nephew Mark Santorelli.

Private services were held at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, Inc. Donations can be made to Bob’s beloved charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, in his honor.
