Cheryl M. (Bersani) Penizotto, 54, died on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her home. She had worked for the Syracuse City School District for several years and formerly was employed by the S.B.A. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her cats. She was a kind, compassionate and caring person who would do anything to help people out - no matter what the circumstances.

She is survived by her parents: Luigi (Toni) Bersani and Karen Bersani; a brother Rick (Mary) Bersani; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with a service at the conclusion.
