Carl F. Spagnolo Obituary

Carl F. Spagnolo, 87, died peacefully on Sunday, April 9, at his home in Syracuse. Carl worked for 34 years as an elementary school teacher in the West Genesee School District. He also served in the US Army in Korea. Carl was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. He was a trumpet player with the Syracuse Police and Fire Marching Band. He was also a long time altar server and usher at St. Vincent dePaul Church.

He is survived by 2 brothers: Richard (Janis dec.) and Joe Spagnolo; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 10:30am at St. Vincent dePaul Church with entombment in Woodlawn Mausoleum.

Calling hours will be Friday from 5-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street.
