Codie Bayeur-Clarke, age 28, was reunited with his mother Stacey (Bayeur) Dollinger, and grandmother Judith Thorn when he passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 27, 2023.

Codie was born in Syracuse, on July 28, 1994, to David Clarke and the late Stacey (Bayeur) Dollinger. He was also blessed with the guidance of David Dollinger who raised him as his own son. Codie was raised in Nedrow, New York where he received his primary education. The family later relocated to Sherill, New York where he graduated from V.V.S. High School.

Codie was blessed with the ability to create a special bond with each person that came into his life. From his parents to his siblings, from his partner to his friends, Codie touched so many lives in his brief time here on Earth. The bond that was created between Codie and his Grandmother was the root that defined him as a person. His family and friends would often say that Codie had a beautiful, giving, and joyous personality followed by his infectious smile. On his free time away from his self-employment endeavors, Codie indulged in his passion for arts and crafts. Codie is survived by his girlfriend Kaila Lohr; birth father David Clarke of Florida; his father David Dollinger of Syracuse and David’s husband, Cory Acome-Dollinger. He is also survived by his uncle Paul and aunt Michele Kloc of Fayetteville; his beloved brothers Matthew Dollinger and Tori Bennett, and Jacob and Mary Dollinger; his baby sister Logan Acome-Dollinger; and aunt Samantha Goodno. Codie was predeceased by his mother Stacey (Bayeur) Dollinger and beloved grandmother Judith (Kloc Bayeur) Thorn. Codie will forever be missed by those that he shared love with.

Family and friends are invited to services to be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, Inc., 3111 James St., Syracuse, New York.

A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation at Woodlawn Cemetery and Mausoleums.
