Helen Irene Sikorski, (nee Sutkowski), 97, of Syracuse, died at her home on March 4, 2023. Helen was a home maker who dearly loved her family. She spent many winters vacationing in Florida. She had a beautiful rose garden that she took great pride in. Helen was an avid crochet designer and made many afghans and doilies. Helen is a member of Transfiguration Church and Altar & Rosary Society. Helen was the last living member of a large Polish family.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Richard; two sisters-in-law: Sr. Mary Norbert and Sr. Mary Antonita; two daughters: Patricia Arnold and Diana Pilawa.
Helen’s surviving immediate family include her daughter Jean A. (David) Zinteck of Minoa; son Richard Zinteck, Jr. of Fayetteville; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Private services were held in Blessed Sacrament Church and St. Mary’s Mausoleum on Friday, March 10, 2023.
