Daniel Thomas Martin Rose, 78, of Syracuse, was called home to the Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was a graduate of Syracuse University and formerly was a singer in NYC. Mr. Rose alse served in the US Air Force. Mr. Rose was a devote Christian and a member of North Syracuse Baptist Church. He was pre-deceased by his parents: Thomas (2003) and Anna (1997) and his sister Elaine Rose Morabito (2008).
He is survived by a niece JoAnne Johnson Morabito; a nephew Thomas (Annemarie) Morabito; great nieces: Marisa Anne, Gina Marie and Maria Annunziata Morabito; a great-nephew Lance Corporal Jeffery James Johnson; a cousin Patricia Ilacqua and a close family member Kimberly Evans.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday in the North Syracuse Baptist Church with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 12-1pm in the church prior to the service.
