Marian F. Parolin, 84, of Syracuse, died on Saturday, January 14 at University Hospital. Marian loved and was devoted to her cats and enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and bingo. She was a communicant and active volunteer at St. Vincent dePaul Church and formerly sold Avon and worked at Hotel Syracuse.
She was pre-deceased by her parents: William and Marian Locke and sister Donna Locke.
Her surviving family includes her son William; daughters Doreen (James) Ronan, Diane Parolin; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 5-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, Syracuse. The funeral mass will be Saturday at 9:30am in St. Vincent dePaul Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt.
