Lillian Burgos, 78, of Syracuse, died on September 27th at Upstate Hospital.   She was a native of Puerto Rico and retired as a teacher assistant from the Syracuse City School District.  Lillian was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.  She was a kind devoted mother and wife who loved life. Lillian had an infectious smile that brightened every room she entered. She was predeceased by a son Dennis J. Burgos 
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Manuel; sons: Richard (Kathy Kelly) and Adam (Merrilee); daughter April (Joe) Tuza; sister Maria McGinty; brother Edwin Quinones; 10 grandchildren: Susana, Danielle, Juan, Allyse, Allison, Jessica, Ryan, Lauren, Zachary, Elle; and 2 great-grandchildren: Isabella and Lisa. 
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30am in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Friday from 5-8pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.
