Obituary of Bruno A. Mafrici

Bruno Mafrici, 86, of Syracuse passed away on Saturday, April 23 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bruno was a true Northsider and proud Italian-American. Bruno attended North High School before entering the United States Army where he proudly served our Country during the Korean War. After his time in the Army, Bruno worked for the City of Syracuse for many years before retiring. He was an avid fan of Frank Sintara/The Rat Pack, going on long drives, walking around the mall and venturing to The Turning Stone. Above all else, Bruno loved spending time with his family and eating anything made by his loving wife Mary Ann. 
Bruno was predeceased by his parents, Lucy and Frank; brother, Tom. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, the former Mary Ann LoFaro; daughter, Luanne (Tony) Calcagnino; grandchildren, Jenna (Adam) Pritchett, Krista (Kolbie) Millett; great grandchildren, Lucas and Samuel Pritchett, Walter Millett; and sister, Pauline (Gaetano) Dieni; and several nieces and nephews.
