Obituary of Paul A. Bauer

Paul A. Bauer, 75, of Bridgeport, died on Thursday, December 9 at Crouse Hospital.  He retired after 32 years working in Clinical Engineering at Upstate Medical Hospital.  He enjoyed boating, golfing, stock car racing, his time he spent living in Dundee, Florida, and also spending time with his family and the famous Jay Dog, a great companion for him.  Paul was an avid SU Basketball fan.
He was pre-deceased by his mother Amina Bauer, aunt Ruth Griffith, uncle Bud Terwilliger and grandson Jonathan Lapierre.  Paul’s family would like to thank Crouse Hospital and his care giver Donna.
Paul is survived by his daughter Michele (Kevin) Lapierre; son Matthew Bauer; his former wife Sue; grandchildren Ryan and Collin Lapierre; and cousins: Susan Mims, and Tom & John Griffith.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 11-1pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with a service at the conclusion.  Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery in North Manlius.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bridgeport Fire Department.
