Obituary of Suzanne F. Schiller

Suzanne (Frasier) Schiller, 94, of Camillus, passed away on November 3, 2021 at Elderwood at Liverpool Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse to Arletta and N. L. “Jack” Frasier, she graduated from Central High School and attended Syracuse University.  Suzanne worked at New York Telephone Company and at the West Genesee School District. She and her husband John volunteered at Community General Hospital for 40 years, volunteered ushering at the Syracuse Symphony, and also attended the Symphony Classics.  Suzanne was a Charter member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Camillus and was a former member of their Altar Guild and Mary Circle.  She also was a former member of the Liedeikranz Auxiliary, Community General Hospital Auxiliary, and the Syracuse Symphony Association. She is predeceased by her husband John in 2006, her parents and two brothers, Nelson “Butch” and Robert.  She is survived by her three children, Scott (Yvonne) in Florida, Mary Dee Yost (Rev. Richard) of Solvay, and Gary (Maureen) of Warners; four grandchildren, Eric Schiller, Christopher Yost, Brett Schiller and Maura Arnold (Adam); and two great grandchildren, Evelyn and Katherine Arnold. Calling hours will be held at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home at 1217 N. Salina St, Syracuse, NY from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday at St. Michaels Lutheran Church at 5108 W. Genesee St, Camillus, NY with burial to follow at 1:30 in Woodlawn Cemetery.
