Obituary of Mary Lou Bryant

Mary Lou McHale Bryant, 76, of Syracuse, NY was called home on October 22,2021.
Mary Lou was the daughter of Howard F. and Madeline Rocker McHale.  She was born September 30, 1945 in Boonville, NY. She was a 1963 graduate of Port Leyden Central Schools. Mary Lou attended Jefferson Community College.  Never one to let thing be left undone, Mary Lou completed her course of study.  She received her Bachelor of Professional Studies, Cum Laude, from Syracuse University in 2006.
Mary Lou married Gordon W Bryant in 1970.  The marriage ended in divorce.
Mary Lou worked many jobs in her career.  She worked for Ames Department Store, Norstar and Fleet Bank, Drs Seidberg and Alibrandi, NY State Attorney General's office and most recently at TJ Maxx Destiny USA.  She loved working at TJ Maxx and all the wonderful staff and customers that she would see at the jewelry counter.   
Mary Lou is survived by: her daughter Jennifer (John) Nickless, Bridgeport, NY.  Her ex-husband Gordon (Eileen) Bryant, Manlius, NY.  Her beloved dog Buddy.  And her Grandpuppies, Molly and Sophie.  Sister-in-law, Helen McHale, Virginia, niece Joanna (Rick) Hudak, and nephew Brian (Elizabeth) McHale, both of Virginia, uncle Jim Rocker, NY and several cousins.
Mary Lou is predeceased by her parents, brothers, James E McHale and Howard F McHale, and several aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be 4-7 at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street Syracuse NY on November 4, 2021.  Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Port Leyden, November 17, 2021.  A mass will be said in her honor at 9:30 am on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi church Bridgeport NY
