I reflected for quite a few days trying to collect my thoughts of condolence. In a very short time Kathy had a profound influence on me. We had many conversations about life, love, family, kindness, opinions, living and dying. Anyone who knows me knows I tend to gravitate towards people who keep it "real". Kathy was "real". Whether she was calling me Ro, Debbie, Kelly, Coleen, BooBoo - it didn't matter (in fact she said "I don't know why I can't remember your name but who cares). I didn't care, it just mattered to spend time. I feel like your family is losing a precious gift. I feel like I wish I had know her better and sooner. I feel like that little bit of time will stay with me a life time. I feel like every time I make the lasagna roll recipe she shared with me ( and she shared it in detail, telling me exactly which layers come first) I will think of her. I have learned in life we never lose a person because they our always in our hearts. Kathy is in my heart. Lori

I knew Kathy from the Telephone Company where we worked together for many years. I also knew Kathy socially, telephone company parties, trips to the casino and dinners. After we retired from the telephone company we saw each other at our hairdresser's, Eastwood Hair Design, where owner Laura Hall, Kathy and myself would socialize. Kathy had a great family. Her husband Jim used to cut my Mom's lawn and her Niece, Jen Delaney was best friends with my daughter, Jessica ( Harrington) Yeldon. I will truly miss Kathy's sense of humor, her smile and her awesome personality. Good bye "Stella", a nickname we called her at the telephone company. See you in heaven, my dear friend. I was so saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. She possessed a truly caring and generous nature, spitfire personality, quick wit and a wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor. It was a privilege to enjoy her company over these recent years, and her physical presence will be missed. My sincere condolences to the many family and friends who loved her.
