Rose Marie Vallet, Beloved Mother and Grandmother, 85, of Manlius, died at her home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and received her Education Degree from SUNY Fredonia. She had worked as a homebound teacher for the Syracuse City School District. She also served as secretary to the president of Eastern Baptist College. Rose Marie was active in many churches and served as the eternal assistant for her husband’s stewardship. She was pre-deceased by her husband Rev. Dr. Ronald E. Vallet, daughter Kristen Vallet, sons William Carey Vallet and Adoniram Judson Vallet, and sister Dorothy Beam. She is survived by a daughter: Heather (Paul) Richards of East Syracuse; a son: Ronald (Heather) Vallet Jr. of Manlius; grandchildren: Matthew, Nikita, Nicholas & Davahn Richards, Carly, Benjamin, Luke & Hailey Vallet, and Taylor & Toby Tummino; brothers: Jim & Richard McMindes; sisters: Susie Sconfitto & Linda Doster; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 22, from 5-7pm in Eastwood Baptist Church with a prayer service at 7pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Eastwood Baptist Church, 3212 James St., Syracuse 13206 or Mission Hope Community, 23 W. Main St., Camillus 13031.
