Christopher J. Ross
July 4, 2017

Christopher J. Ross, 40, of Syracuse, died on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
Chris will be remembered for his compassion, lively personality, contagious smile, bear hugs, booming voice, passion for music and sports (especially for SU Basketball, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Boston Red Sox), and his big heart - he would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it more.  His dedication to his craft, was envied, and many will remember him as one of the most requested waiters in Syracuse.  His larger than life presence, along with those world class hugs, will be missed by family and friends.
Chris is survived by his father Robert Ross of Manlius; mother Mary Jane Ross of Sandwich, MA; brothers: Bob of Syracuse, Jamie (Kim) of Holliston, MA; sisters: Eileen (Mike) Silk, of Holliston, MA, Lorine Ball of Cicero; nephews: Keegan Silk, Riley Silk, and Camden Ross; and nieces: Maggie Ball, Allie Ball, and Aisling Ross.
Memorial Service to celebrate the large life of Christopher will be held at a later date.

Day is done, gone the sun
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky;
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.
