Dear Teresa,
You may remember me as Joseph Naselli, class of 50 CBA, and knowing you as one of the girls from the convent school. Your husband Luddy and I were inseparable in high school and were the class idiots, always being reprimanded by the brothers.
Both his parents and mine as well thought that we would end up in reform school. If there was something we could do to be trouble makers, we were there, ready and waiting.
Well, as the years wore on, I graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. I served in the Korean War conflict, learned how to fly and worked for American Airlines, and then studied for a Coast Guard License to take the "big Ships" out of the Port of Miami.
I married Suzanne Lee Harris from Rome, N.Y., and then started a traveling adventure around the world by sailboat. Eventually ended up in Cuba then Guatemala as a medical advisor utilizing what I had learned in college at an orphanage. Wrote several books on our experiences and built a home in Mexico's central part, Guadalajara, Mexico,5000 miles high in a sleepily little village known as Chapala.
Today we still live six months in Mexico and six in West Palm Beach, Florida, a town know as Jupiter.
Please say hello, and I would like to talk to you. captnaselli@netzero.net

To Teresa and the Family:
Our deepest condolences on your loss. I knew Luddy since I was in elementary school years. Always the gentleman with a fine sense of humor. He and my brother, Marty were friends and both played basketball together at Blessed Sacrament. In later years he worked with my sister, Esther. I saw Luddy here and there through the years. When we moved back to Syracuse we saw him and Teresa weekly at Holy Cross parish at the Vigil Mass. I can still see him fingering his Rosary beads, saying that prayer before Mass began. What a guy! He still had his humorous quips and referred to me as 'The Captain.'
He was a fine Christian and role model.
Luddy, you are now Home after your journey of 89 years. Rest in peace!
Sincerely,
Jim and Theresa (Terry) Dooher
