Obituary of Susan Anne Foley

Susan Anne Foley died at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, April 4, 2019 from complications due to Parkinson's syndrome.  She was 74.
Born June 26, 1945, in Syracuse, Susan remained a life long resident.  She attended Central Tech HS, Oswego and Syracuse University and graduated from CCBI with a degree in business.  She worked at Honeywell, Literacy Volunteers and finally Blessed Sacrament School as a teacher's aide in the Kindergarten class.  She enjoyed crafting, reading, bible study and had the incredible gift of helping people.  Whether it was a neighborly gesture or a sympathetic ear, she always made the time to listen and council family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Francis L. Foley; her daughters: Elizabeth A. Foley and Jennifer E. Foley of Syracuse and granddaughter, Liliana Dwyer.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm Monday, April 8, at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James St, Syracuse.  The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Tuesday, April 9, at Blessed Sacrament Church, with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blessed Sacrament Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
