Obituary of Norma M. Murphy

Norma M. Murphy, 96, of  East Syracuse, died on Saturday, February 16 at the Commons on St. Anthony in Auburn.  She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church since 1947 and was a member of the choir.  She enjoyed bowling, golf and playing Bridge.  She was pre-deceased by her husband Raymond who died in 1987 and 3 brothers: Harlow, Richard and Floyd Gardinier.  
She is survived by her sons: Thomas E. (Linda) of East Syracuse, John R. (Mary) of Syracuse; a daughter: Sandra R. (Robert) Comestro of Cicero; 2 sisters: Marjorie E. Dunlavey of Amsterdam, Hazel I. Roberts of Peoria, AZ; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Amsterdam, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastwood Baptist Church, 3212 James Street, Syracuse 13206.
