Obituary of Paul Richard Nemier

Paul Richard Nemier, 82, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home. Paul was a proud veteran of the US Navy.  He had retired after 30 dedicated years with GM in 1993.  He was a loving husband, brother, father, papa, uncle, and friend. He was known for his kind and gentle heart and he adored his family. If you knew Paul, you knew he loved Jesus Christ with his whole heart and it was his faith that carried him through the toughest days.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol Ann (Helbock) Nemier, parents Nelson and Cecelia Nemier and all four siblings. 
Paul is survived by his sons: Scott of Jamesville, Kurt of Syracuse; grandchildren: Jessica, Sarah, Ashley and Benjamin(Liz) Nemier; an aunt Katherine Nemier and several nieces.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-6pm with a service at the conclusion at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.  A private family burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
