Lois Grassman O’Connell

Lois Grassman O’Connell, 86, died on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Rochester.  She was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area prior to moving to Rochester last year.  Lois was a graduate of North High School and Comptometer School.  She worked at Prestolite for 21 years and was a parishioner of Assumption Church.
She is pre-deceased by her parents: William and Vera Grassman, brothers William and Richard Grassman, her husband of 51 years, Robert (2008), and daughter Patricia (2011).
She is survived by her daughter Karen O’Connell of Syracuse; son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Amy O’Connell of Victor, NY; twin granddaughters: Samantha and Sarah O’Connell; one niece and one nephew.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 29 at 10am in Assumption Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Calling hours are Friday, September 28 from 4-7pm at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 South Winton Road, Rochester 14623 or to St. Ann’s Foundation - Pastoral Care, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester 14621.
