Robert H. Livesay, 79, of East Syracuse, died on Tuesday at Francis House surrounded by his family.  He was a graduate of Vocational High School.  Robert was a veteran of the Air Force from 1956 - 1960. He retired from Bristol Myers Squibb in 1994 after 34 years and also from Cable Express in 2000.  He was a communicant of St. Matthews Church and a member of the Bristol Myers Employee Association.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Margaret Mary VanWell Livesay in 2011.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Kristin M. (Daniel) Diedrickson of Kirkville, Anne M. (Roy) Jewell of Liverpool; 2 sons: David F. (Sue) of Clay, Robert H. of East Syracuse; 9 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and was known as “Grandpa Bob” by all.  His grandchildren were the light of his life.
The funeral mass will be Saturday at 9am in St. Matthew’s Church with interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.  Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm in St. Matthew’s Church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Matthews Church.
