Barbara Joan Bernadette Dillon, 67, died at her home on Monday in East Syracuse.  She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Anthony of Padua High School in Syracuse and the College of St. Rose in Albany.  Barbara was a former Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet and retired as a teacher from Bishop Grimes High School.  She had formerly taught at Seton Catholic High School in Binghamton and the Franciscan Academy in Syracuse.  She was an accomplished crafter and enjoyed making her own “Barb - Cards”.  She was pre-deceased by her parents Lawrence and Margaret Dillon.
She is survived by her brothers: Paul (Diane) Dillon of Syracuse, Pat (Mary) Dillon of Theresa, NY, Lawrence M. Dillon of Loudonville, NY; sisters: Kathleen Powers, Margie (Ken) Hart, Marie Dillon all of Lafayette; Elizabeth Dillon Munson (Timothy Munson) of McLean, NY; and several nieces and nephews.  We love you, Barb.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10am at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt.  Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
