Our prayers go out to Bill and his family. Having worked with Bill for the past few years I know his mother must have been a good woman by the type of man that she raised.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Janet. So many fond memories. I still remember visiting her house in Syracuse when I was very little, and also remember going to the Fireman's Fair and riding on the flying swings with her when I was a kid. We had a couple of wonderful visits with her when she came to see us in Minnesota. And the Syracuse Orange, of course, always remind me of Aunt Janet! Wish I lived closer to her. She will be missed very much.

Remembering dearest Janet--Friends from before birth--two little girls on adjacent farms in Crum Creek. Went to a one-room school house--played every day. Our mothers let us spend an hour at one house and then we went to the other's house for an hour--our Moms probably took naps. It was a dirt road between us and we manage to find every puddle, flower or stone to throw on our way. Later it was bikes--I think we rode a million miles on our bikes. Up to Oppenheim for ice cream, down to visit Sue and Sally Snell--even into St. Johnsville to visit relatives and probably more ice cream. Our biggest adventure was running away from home at the ages of 7. It was a bitter cold, but sunny day in early March where the snow was covered with ice so they couldn't finds our tracks--we were in TROUBLE when they found us walking along Rt. 5 headed to Little Falls. I don't know what was in our tiny minds!! I know how much Janet loved Bill and then Gina and then her precious grandchildren! They were her life. She will be missed so deeply!!! With my deepest sympathy, Marietta and husband, George

Dear Bill and Gina,
We are very saddened to hear that our Aunt Janet has passed away. She was a wonderful, kind, and lively person. She was very good to us when we lived in Syracuse, and it was always fun to get together with her. Her upbeat attitude and infectious laughter are something we will always remember – as well as her love of Syracuse basketball and the phone calls we got after a game. Aunt Janet will always be remembered by us for being the very special person she was.
