Obituary of Dolores F. Grosso

Dolores F. Grosso January 22, 2017 Dolores F. Grosso (Dee) beloved mom and grandma "gramcracker", 88 of Central Square, joined her love "Nin" on Sunday, January 22, at home surrounded by love. Dolores was born in Oneonta, NY on April 12,1928. Married Anthony C. Grosso, on December 12,1947, settled in Eastwood until 1976, then moving to their summer home in Central Square, NY. She was a talented artisan, teaching ceramic classes (with cocktails) in Eastwood and Central Square out of her home studios. She enjoyed ceramics, china painting, making porcelain dolls, pottery and bowling back in the day. She loved traveling, gambling in LasVegas, playing cards, antiquing, collecting, shopping and of course, her granddaughters and great granddaughters! She was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony in 2009, parents and siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Tom) Carnegie, Sandy Grosso, Toni (Kevin) Buckley, Dori (Joe) Cangemi Jr. and son Jon Grosso; granddaughters, Janine, Michele, Kimberly, Ashley, Alyssa and Cera; great granddaughters, Kirsten, Lauren, Ava, Arianna and Cameron; her fur baby George and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregivers on her dementia journey, Donna, Alma and Linda. To Sandy for moving here to love, care for and keeping her going even when she did not want to. To Cera and her girls for lighting up her life and to Joe for all his years of Sunday morning breakfasts with mom (and dad). We all love you, until we meet again.... At Dolores's request there will be no services. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Oswego County.
