Mary Margaret Lesnau (nee Kallfelz), 84, passed away peacefully in her own home surrounded by family on December 31, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Ed, her children: Edward (Mary Jane Lesnau) of West Monroe, NY, Cathy (Joe) LeMura, Martha (Al) Coren, Joanne Lesnau all of Syracuse, 6 grandchildren: Bo James (Colleen) Giddings, Joseph & Thomas (Hannah) Lesnau, James (Laura) LeMura, Alex & Catherine Coren, 4 great-grandchildren: Griffin, Talon, Jack and Madeleine. Mary Margaret met her husband, Ed, while working at the Kallfelz Bros. Bakery owned by her family. Mary Margaret took great pride in her long service in the Crouse Hospital Radiology Department. She enjoyed spending summers at the family camp at Pillar Point. She lived a full and happy life, and her memory will be cherished forever by her beloved family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30AM at the Welter-Price Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home, 3111 James Street. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Church or Francis House.
