Leonard A. Liepke, 84, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY, passed away Tuesday, November 29th in his family home. Leonard was employed and retired from the City of Syracuse Water Department. He was an avid sportsman of both hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Alexandra ( Conte ) and daughter Sharon Stack. Leonard's surviving family members include two sisters: Lucille Pelkey and Anna Mae Rockburn; a daughter, Darlene Carney; son in law John Stack; granddaughters: Jessie Stack and Lauren Carney; great-grandchildren: Lia, Lucas and Sophia; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 11am-1pm at the Welter-Price Funeral Home, 3111 James St., Syracuse, with burial to follow services at Assumption Cemetery, 2401 Court St. Syracuse.
